Hello everyone,
I'm trying to make the FEM of a modeled compression spring, with both ends grounded and squared, and when I see the results the spring deformation not seems like on reality must to be. Has a very small compression in comparison, even loading it with huge loads.
I think that I'm leaving some option back, I just worked till now on normal structures, and I'm quite lost. The researches only showed me how to move simulate it.
I'm currently using NX8 with Nastran Solver, and for the deformation representation I put the Absolute scale, to get see the correct dimensions.
Thanks for the help.
