SPT Borings

Why would anyone looking for sinkhole activity on an acre parcel of land drill three SPT borings in a perfect triangle, all within three feet of each other, absolutely no where near where the damage has occured to the house.

Let me guess...they used a divining rod to locate the borings!!

Makes not sense to me. This should be approached with geophysical testing/evaluation. There are a couple of firms in Tampa/Central Florida with capability.
