Attached are some gear creation programs, a few written in Grip and one in NX Open. After downloading the file, edit the file extension from .zipper to .zip before attempting to extract the files. I'd try the NX Open program, 'gear_model2.dll', first as I think it's the better program. Certainly it's the fastest.

Note that these programs are being provide 'as is' with NO implied warranty and you've already gotten all the support that's available ;-)

Hi John

What ever happened to the gear wizard that was floating around some time ago?

Officially, it's unofficial.

But if you know my email address, I'll provide you the information for enabling it.

And what is the situation with the prc folder/possibilities?
I think this is very good package.

That's actually what I was talking about. What used to be referred to as the 'Gear Wizard' is now part of that 'option'.

hello John,
I got an ufusr error using the dll is it only for 32bit?

sorry new in NX
regards
Erwin

Yes, that's a rather old NX Open program and before you ask, it's the only copy that I have. You could try the GRIP programs (they're NOT impacted by the 32bit/64bit issue).
