Is there a specialy symbol for adding the square root symnol in to text annotation?

Until NX 8.0 you're going to either need to use an NX font where someone has included that as one of the 'special' symbols or else you're going to have to create a 'User Defined Symbol' which could be inserted into the text string.

Starting with NX 8.0, with support of TrueType and OpenType fonts, it's just a matter of finding some standard symbol-rich font, such as the 'ESSTIX' series (ESSTIXSix has several different ones) and use it. In fact, most standard TrueType fonts, such as Arial, includes at least one Square Root symbol. The image below shows Drafting notes created using NX 8.5.1.3 (but I could have done the same in NX 8.0) using the fonts mentioned:
