I'd had some advice for a new lime tank that we are evaluating that i'd like to valide the following..

1. Is it common to use square/rectangular tanks in solid service.. i'd had some advice that they help mixing by avoiding baffles..except on a new project i'd never seen a rectangular tank..but my main experience is in chemicals not waste handling..

2. Is it common to have open top lime tanks.. or is debris a problem for such a tank..
