Hey,
I'm creating a 3D model, then a draft file. From that draft file I export the .DWG and .PDF formats for customer viewing purposes. Well.. the last sheet in almost all of our drawing sets needs to be in color. I have tried enabling the part colors and also hatching the part in the draft file. Using "part painter" the color shows up in the DFT file and the PDF, but not the DWG. Instead, if I "draw in view" and hatch the areas, the colors show up in the DFT, the PDF, and about half of the colors will show up in the DWG file. (I'm assuming because they aren't standard or primary colors.[orange for example will not show up]) Is there another option, or workaround for this? or am I missing something simple completely?
Thanks for any tips or advice.
I use Solid Edge ST4, AutoCad lite 2007, and DWG TrueView 2012.
