Stage Wheel Chair Ramp

I am looking at purchasing a wheel Chair ramp for our stage and have seen an image of the legs for the ramp and thought I should ask someone more knowledgeable about the strength and alignment. I am used to stages having direct pressure on the floor and to my mind the angle in the stage leg poles will weaken the structure or load capacity but was unsure if its enough to worry about. I would have thought a flat connection at the right angle would make more sense than an angled leg? any thoughts would be appreciated - image attached

Difficult to see the detail of the top mounting and the bottom of the legs / feet - can you get a clearer / brighter photo please.

From the angle of the side panels this looks like someone has adapted a normal flat piece to now be at a fairly shallow angle.

Not great, but so long as the ramp is securely located against the stage, I can't see anything too bad here, but the detail of the foot and the top connection needs to be looked at better.

Do the feet of the intermediate supports sit flat on the floor or not - can't see from that photo.

the connection to the stage is solid and the top of the pole sits perfectly on the bottom of the stage in a quick lock secure fitting. The feet are on a swivel which is fine

the part that worries me is the weld that joins the angled leg to the vertical

Presumably this is so they can use the same quick-lock fitting on the ramp section.

You'd have to ask the product designer / manufacturer.

I expect the cranked pipe is adequate for normal use. If the ramp is intended for communal areas/crowd/fire escape then verification of the load capacity should be sought anyway.

Thanks for the advice - the manufacturer claims 750kg load per piece of stage just wondered if it would affected by the welded angle but i understand the need to double check.

So long as the weld is a full penetration butt weld this sort of angle shouldn't be a concern.

Need a closer up photo to see how this has been done.
