Who is credited with inventiing stainless steel?
Which is right? The source?

1912 Krupp, after intensive research developes the first stainless, acid-resistant steels.

1913 Max Mauermann in Mürzzuschlag, Austia invented stainless steel.

1913 Harry Brearley of Sheffield, England, produces a new alloy called "rustless steel" later known as "stainless steel".

As far as I have found reading original source is that the Germans and English were working without knowage of each other. The work in Austria and in France may also have been fully independent.
The question is who invented, but who made a useful product.
