I'm looking for detailed information on design and construction of outdoor stone stairways not supported by a natural slope
but "freestanding" along (retaining) walls to span heights of 2m and more with stair width larger than the standard single block step width and of long structures along a lakefront
or similar.
I feel unsecure about such topics as foundation, drainage, cladding.
Found some hints for smaller structures but not for this obviously more demanding construction.
