I manufacture circular part using method "VARIABLE CONTOUR" and want to use standard post MILLTURN. The problem number one is that NX use four axis XYZC but I want to use only XZC. And problem number 2 - when I look though the post (which was generated by NX standard MILLTURN post) I can find only Z and Y motions , but what about C angle?

Please have a look

Please let us know what version of NX you are using when posting a question. And in this case what version of Post Builder as well.

From the look of the tool path you have you will need to use a set of linked posts. One for Turning and one for Milling. A 2 axis lathe post and a 4 axis Mill post should do the trick. What type of machine is this?
Have you checked the GTAC website to see if there is an existing post available?

Hi Bailar,

Are you actually using a live tooled lathe to make this part?
or a dedicated "mill-turn" machine like a mazak integrex?

If not, if you are using a milling machine with a "C" axis, you will want to use the "MILL_4_AXIS" or "MILL_5_AXIS" post.
The "MILLTURN" post is something different.
