I'd like to know what the standard voltages are in Panama with respect to industrial plant design.

medium voltage distribution = 13.8kV?
medium voltage distribution = 4.16kV?
low voltage 3 phase = 240V?
low voltage 1 phase = 120V?

inbk2k3,
My former employer about 20+ years ago was asked to bid for steel on the Panama Canal revamp. In the bid would be service centers at each end by the locks. I had found out which voltages were standard and 60Hz for the whole country. Bid was to high I guess.
3ph 480/277 volts wye
3ph 240 volts delta ungrounded
3ph 240 volts delta grounded "B" ph.
3ph 240/120 volts delta center tap
3ph 208/120 volts wye
1ph 120/240 volts
3ph 4160/2400 volts wye
3ph 2400 volts delta

One end of the canal was 13.8/7.97kV wye.
Other end was 13.2kV delta.
In other words, just like USA, including the NEC
Hope this helps,
Dave
