I am not an IT person and was not involved in the setup and installation of our Catia, but here goes.

I created our Catia standards back in V5-R16. They hace never been recreated, but simply copied to each new release. Come to find out recently, that Dassault actually made improvements to the BOM's within Catia back in R20 or R21? You can now customize the default BOM within the Standard, so during a create or an update, your drawing BOM doesn't revert to the out of the box default (Qty, Partnumber, Type, Nomenclature, Revision) . However, the Standard needed to be recreated from scratch, because our current standard doesn't have the BOM options within it.

Are there settings or options that need to be set to read this standard when opening an assembly, part or drawing to use these new Standard BOM settings?

I've created the new standard and set the BOM options to my requirements.
1. Is the Standard's BOM options supposed to be reflected in the CATProduct Bill of Material?
2. If the new Standard settings are supposed to be reflected in the CATProduct, how do I get them to sync?

I'm just trying to get my CATProducts and Drawing to use these new Standard's BOM settings.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

you can compare old standard with new one. go to bom section and find what are the differences between two files.
then copy needed lines to old standard and run catia admin again to see if it works.
