Standards covering design for lifting and rigging

I have a machine where we intend to convert its lifting attachments from ASME standard eyebolts to ISO 3266 (CE Harmonised) eyebolts. This equipment is fixed in place during service and the eyebolts are only used during installation of the machinery.

The Machinery Directive indicates that it should be designed to "facilitate its handling", but I am unable to find any related standards in the Harmonised list beyond the eyebolt standard itself.

Ideally (and following from the directive) I hope there would be standards providing guidance on:
- Location and orientation of lifting eyes on the machine for rigging
- Sizing of lifting eyes when 3 or more are to be used
- Safe rigging practices (to be recommended to our customers, as we don't perform installations ourselves)

Is there coverage for these topics somewhere?

I should mention that our machinery is not for lifting other material or people. (I saw many standards applying to that)

Also, I see the harmonized list includes only ISO 3266:2010 for an acceptable eyebolt.

DIN 580 / ISO 3266:1984 appears may be may only commercially available option. Is this acceptable?
