is there a way to start 5 jobs one after another?

You could use the interactive command and write a batch-file if you use MS Win.

abaqus interactive, j=job1
abaqus interactive, j=job2
abaqus interactive, j=job3
abaqus interactive, j=job4
abaqus interactive, j=job5
