Dear all
Please suggest me about the considering items when Starting the Large machine in isolated system(not connect to the Utitlity). The size of motor is about 15% of the size of generation system (I have the model(transfer funtion of the governor and excitation system already) .And I'd like to know that how to implement the system stability and simulate it before test in real system.
Best regards

Of course, details would make the discussion more quantitative.

That said, the qualitative reply or rule-of-thumb-to-estimate a normal (ROTTEN) expectation from two data points, indicate that the situation is not problematic. The reason... generator capacity is greater than 5 to 6 times the the typical start current of the motor.

However, I must caution you to beware of the ROTTEN rule. Sometime such free advice (especially if free) from experts can BUITA! My definition of an expert... EX is an unknown quantity, and a SPERT is a drip under pressure. Just kidding!

In short (excuse the oun) provide additional data!!!
