First time....about 7 years. Started, developed and sold after 6 years.
Second time...about 28 years. Still going 10 years later.

Do you mean experience as a PE or experience from when you landed your first engineering job?

7 years PE experience

Experience after getting your PE. It seems like everyone is around the same time frame. I appreciate everyone's responses!

To be fair, if you read my other post, I was forced out when the company closed. So going out on my own wasn't necessarily my decision.... just a place I ended up at due to circumstances out of my control.

6 years PE.

Drove my first bulldozer when I was 7 though, so I've been around the block a few times prior.
