I was trying to simulate the model was travel over the single bump condition and i got the static error that someone have been seen before.
I have done with some suggestion already.
- Increase Maxit
- Decrease Error
and also try to change some Formulation (Dynamic).
But the error still appear like this.

---- START: ERROR ----

Static equilibrium analysis has not been successful.
The maximum number of iterations 400, has been reached.
For the last attempted iteration:
The equation with the largest error was model.concept_rear_axle_request.ger_upper_shock Comp = 8 Error = 391603763.451382
The variable receiving the largest increment was model.concept_rear_axle_request.jorcyl_shock Comp = 3 Delta = 2578703805.704716.

---- END: ERROR ----
Static Solution failed to converge

End Static Solution

I have no idea where to fix or change about solver or my model.
So please someone give me some suggestion about it.
Looking forward for some useful answers.

Thank You

What's happening is that the Solver is unable to assemble your model into a system that is correctly joined together and in equilibrium. There are about 6000 possible reasons for this, so some detective work is needed.

The error message should be regarded as a clue, but is not definitive.

Did a previous iteration of your model work?

Have you tried using a static funnel?

Form my previous work, i can run with this model but im not sure about the previous solver setting.
i just open up this model again in another place and it can't run anyway.
So i try to set the solver for run my model but it don't work.
I'm pretty sure that my model can run but i just not sure that how can i set about the solver to run this model again.

Could you give me the suggestion about the solver setting.
I don't tried the static funnel yet. So i will do it later.

Sorry for late replied.
Thank you for your kind.

By the way, i will recheck my model and setting of solver again.

Thank you.

Try /increasing/ the static error. That's effectively what the static funnel does anyway. Also try the other solver formulations such as SI2, with and without mod. I can't really help much, a model that only runs sometimes is not stable enough to work on. Go back to the version that worked and introduce changes one at a time.

Sorry for apply late sir.

I have a doubt.
Is it possible that the same model can run in the older version program but can't in the new one ?

I have tried many things with my model but still doesn't work at all.
While the default model was run in older versions. But open in the new version, it can not run as ever.

Thank you for all your assistance, by the way.

That is a good question. The answer, from the point of view of an ADAMS/Chassis user, is yes, it is common for models to be assembled slightly different between versions. I don't know how stable /Car is from that point of view. Another problem might be that your defaults are different in the new installation, for instance I recently switched from the Fortran solver to the C++ one, which had some side effects, for example the scaling of the error setting changes a lot.

Thank you for your comments.
It may be a problem like that.
I don't know how much it change in defaults setting between version.

So i will try to do it in older version.
I hope it may be work with it.

Thank you very much sir.
