Hi,
A Cload of 20N was applied on a non linear static abaqus run in the direction 25deg inclined to negative global Z.

Reaction force components at constrain location from .dat file are available below

TOTAL; RF1 = 7.261, RF2=0.4346, RF3=18.65, RM1=11.55, RM2=121.0, RM3=-10.10

Query: -
Magnitude of all 6 components is not 20N. only force components resultant is 20, with inclusion of moment components value becames larger.
I am facing similar condition whenever i apply load inclined to any global directions.
Do i needs to consider only force components alone to cross check equilibrium conditions.

This is basic statics. For something to be in equilibrium the sum of the forces equal zero and sum of the moments equal zero. You don't add forces and moments together. The user of any program needs to understand the physics behind the program and its limitations...remember, FEA makes a good engineer better, and a sub-par engineer dangerous.
