Hello everyone,
I am working on a valve operating at high temperature and high pressure.
Have you experienced the temperature 550°C 17-4ph material in these conditions.
Or is there a material you can recommend for these temperatures.

At over 1000°F you are probably getting into the creep range of 17-4 and are losing nearly half of your original yield strength. You will also see significant thermal expansion. Keep in mind you will see accelerated pitting and corrosion due to the elevated temperature. At those temperatures I would be looking at a nickel alloy possibly 718 or 945X.
