Steam turbine hydraulic pump logic

for our Alstom Steam turbine, the hydraulic pumps are kept running after trip or normal stop. can anybody give idea why is it so. I have seen with few other ST OEM, and in their control logic, the hydraulic pumps are not immediately stopped after trip or shutdown.

To keep whatever they feed alive until the turbine stood out allows for some cooling effect. Give us a bit more here...
