Steel Beam Flange Out of Square

I'm reviewing a three plate steel beam that was fabricated with one of the flanges not square to the web. It is a 12" wide flange and when I put a framing square against the web the tip of the flange is off by about 3/8" (3/8" across a 6" distance). If I remember correctly, the AISC tolerance for this is 1/4" There is nothing that bolts or attaches to this flange. I can calculate the section properties of the shape and I doubt there will be much difference than those from an intolerance shape. Other than that, are there any other concerns that I should check?

The tolerance is 1/4" across the whole flange including the opposite flange (T+T'), so it seems you're out more than just 3/8". You've also lost the symmetry in your shape, so you would have to look at more than just section properties, i.e. change which equations are applicable.
 
j19 - Also, be sure to verify the load that the beam is actually carrying and compare that number to the allowable load if the beam had been correctly fabricated. As UcfSE says, there are several problems caused by the out-of-tolerance shape. However is the load is "light", then even this misshaped beam may be acceptable. How "light" a load may be acceptable is another question, but without this comparison you are missing a possible option for solving the problem.
