Could anyone point me to some informative and practical training on paints and other coatings, specifically for steel and aluminum industrial equipment such as cranes and marine structures? Our department has recently been tasked to take a larger role in QA/QC for coatings on projects as well as writing specifications for these systems. I have a structural background so much of this is new to me. We tried the SSPC SC1 course, but that merely consisted of slides without narration. It's a little painful to get through such a training. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
