is it okay to add axial load to the dead load of steel column with the self weight of steel + cladding. I will need the dead load for the load combination. Any other dead load i am missing?

Your question is too general. All loads that are dependent on the column should be included in the design.
That includes all weight of materials above the column, attached to the column, or hung from the columns. Also any live, wind, seismic, snow, etc. loads that are applied and included in their appropriate load combinations.

It is OK to add load to a column if it has the capacity and the capacity question involves a lot of variables and analysis.

As JAE said, this is too general. Yes you could add the factored column dead load (ASCE, 1.4D=1.4 x column weight) to the current axial load. If it fails in strength like JAE said, you can Chose the next size .For any other loads, What you can do is check your code requirement for the minimum design loads (floor loads dead and live) and then check to see if you’ve incorporated the load as per supplier for the cladding etc.
