Steel Grating Clamp requirments

Is there an OSHA requirement that states requirements for steel grating to be clamped/welded to its supports, even if it is surrounded by steel edging?

Short answer is 'no'.

However, the grating has to be free from movement. How would you ensure that without using some kind of clip or clamp?
