Has anyone found a work-around for the 2.5" analytical model offset that occurs for properly physically modeled bar joists in Revit? When exporting the model to Risa Floor, nothing is ever connected and we either have to model them incorrectly in Revit, or adjust each one's analytical model in Revit. Adjusting the analytical model can be extremely tedious for large projects... or nearly any bar joist project for that matter.

Have you tried adjusting the analytical model in Revit so that your joists line up with your steel frame? That should allow you to have your joists at the right elevation in your physical Revit model and section cuts, but avoid the vertical offset in the RISA model.
