Hello Everyone
It is known that all of the tests for the prequalified connections were done using cantilever beam specimens. I'm currently studying the effect of weld restraints, and my concern is: will the behavior of a moment connection on a cantilver beam (free weld restraint in longitudinal direction) represent adequately the behaviour of a moment connection that is part of a frame ( no free weld restraint).
Does Anyone Know about tests carried out, using moment frames?
Thanks in advance
Regards
