Steel Shapes Availability in Mexico

Does anyone have a resource (preferably like AISC's Manual of Steel Construction) for steel in Mexico? I know they use the metric system but do they use American shapes and simply convert to metric?<br>

We design & fabricate for a firm in Mexico. They are limited to what US sections they have avaliable. We could not find a source for avalaible steel sections since it changes from time to time and area to area. Our customer needed to send us a list of what they can get. Importing non-fabricated steel is very costly.<br>

Ok, it's still Monday and my brain is refusing to work. Does this mean that a) Mexico uses primarily American steel and can only get certain shapes or b) does it mean they have their own steel capacity and its possible to also import some American steel?<br>

The company we deal with has access to limited steel sections in English units. If certain sizes are not available (i.e. HSS 4 x 3 x .188 is the max. size) it is very costly to import raw steel from us. Our customer has given us a steel listing (it list the conversion of english units to metric).<br>
