Goodday everyone!

Anyone who has reference on the design and specifications on the splicing of Steel sheet piles?

Thanks!

Don't weld near the interlocks.
In adjacent sheets, vertically stagger the location of the splices. This is to keep splices from all being in the same horizontal plane.
Depending on the design load on the sheeting, splice plates may not be required.
If splice plates are used, taper their length so that there is no sudden change in sheet pile section properties.

See pages 10 thru 12 of "Welding of Steel Sheet Piles" by Arcelor.
