Steep and non-steep areas limiting

Could anyone please admit me some setting, to avoid Fixed contour and Z-level (with cut between levels) paths like in the attached images:

I thought I was the only one getting paths like these.

Surely the underlying tesselation has the most effect on the toolpath that is generated (tesselation of which we never get to see).



I guess my first question is, "Do the developers at Siemens consider this a good toolpath?".

I found an old topic in the GTAC forum, that they suggest to use zig-zag in this case. But now it is 2013...I am on 8.0.3.4. When I started to use UGv18, the problem was the same.
In powermill you can generate boundary curves (limiting steep areas), and you can smooth its segments to archieve a correct path. Is it possible in NX to generate a curve like that?
