For burried butterfly valve application,galvanized steel stem extension will be connected with the buried valve operating nut by SS pin to extend to the valve service box for open/close using T-connector. are there are any effect to the weight of the stem extension on the mechanism of operating nut, as in some locations the valve will be buried for about 3m and the weight of the fabricated stem extension will be about 20Kg ?
