Step conversion issues 1

Afternoon all,

I have been trying to import step files into catia, both direct and via the batch management, and am unable to open any of the files over 500,00kb, it seems to open or translate just a few pieces of the data. The data is coming from Illustrator in step format 203 version, but seems to be failing to import reliably. Is there an alternative method I should be using have tried the provider but they have all left for the day and need to confirm whether the data is ok to use going forward today.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
Try changing the settings under Tools...options...compatibility.....STEP...Import....optimisation....try changing these optimisation options.
I am not aware of any other option as of now.All the Best.
