step file not finished

Hi all,
When I export my part file to the step file with NX9, the NX9 exits automatically before the step file is completely translated. I check the log file, the translation is still half way. But the NX just closes by itself without any warning or error message.
Does anyone what is the problem? Thank you.

Hi,
Can you please check your part using EXAMINE GEOMETRY first before exporting the STEP file.
Also look through the log file...you might get a hint from there.

The log file shows just part of the geometry are exported, and no summary or date of end translation show in that log file

Sounds like a strange thing to happen; Did you try it more than once ?
