OMG, getting ready to shove my fist through my monitor because of this. As the title says, the step file of a solid body I created transforms into a crap load of tiny sheet bodies when re-imported.

I've done this procedure thousands of times and this is the first time I've had this happen. It's always been a solid body when it's re-imported.

Someone please save my monitor from my fist.

One of the comments at one time from a translator programmer was something like "We don't guarantee that you can round-trip a file". Now this was said a few years back, around UGII V14 time, so maybe things have changed. The export routines are written for other CAD systems to import and the import routines are written for data from other CAD systems. What NX exports and what NX imports may be 2 different things.
