STEP file - Recognize Features - hole units

I'm slowly converting all our old files from Catia to SW12 (recently upgraded from SW11). The problem I have is I'll open a STEP file, run "Recognize Features", which usually works great, however it always selects ANSI Metric instead of inch for the hole wizard.

My "Part" template is all inches, and I have set the Open/Options - Units to Template Specified. Is there something else I'm overlooking, or is this just something I'll have to live with?

I've also noticed that my attributes aren't always there under file properties. They always seem to be there for assemblies, but not always for parts.
