Is it possible to export a saved Csys ?

Do any of the other translators support this ?

You can do it is step but you have to modify the settings to and co-ordinate system under translate entities of type. You need to do this on both in the export and import side and save the settings to .def files when prompted to do so.

This works for STEP203 and STEP214, as far as I can see IGES translator doesn't support coordinate systems. I also couldn't tell you at this stage what you'll get in other CAD systems.

Cheers

Hudson,

Thank You, I do see the Coordinate Systems option in NX5. I was originally looking in NX3.

However, using 5.0.4.1, I simply get a <Internal error: memory access violation> when exporting a STEP file.

Phil,

I'd say something hasn't installed properly because it worked the first time for me under the same version of NX-5. I used STEP203 because it was just the one file.

Best regards

Hudson

Hudson,

I ran NX5 out-of-the-box and it worked fine. I've obviously got some DLL's loading at startup that are causing the issue.

Thanks again,
