Hello all,
I would really appreciate some help and advice. When it comes to bone modelling I can obtain STL file formats of a bone (which I understand is just surface data). From this I would like to make this part a solid model. I have tried using the Scanto3D module in Solidworks, however I can not seem to obtain a solid model, the options seem limited, when I import the STL into solidworks. Does anyone have any more success with turning this into a solid? I know it can be done, because, I found a solid bone model online at the following link:
I am not sure how this was turned from a bone surface to solid model.
I have attached the STL I am having problems making into a solid model to the following link
Many thanks
