I am a surveyor / draftsman for and engineering company and I was recently assigned to do a map of our citys storm sewer network. I was wondering if anyone had any maps they would like to share so I can have an idea on what would work and look the best.
Right now I am using autocad and drawing all the pipes, drop inlets, and manholes in 3d and annotating the pipe size, direction of flow, etc. I am also using the storm sewer program in our Eagle Point software to set up a map so that when we have to add on to the current system we can use the info we have already gathered to figure the size of pipes and such that we will need.
