Hoping for suggestions to a problem. Property is in the Texas Hill country. natural contour of the ground significant hill to shelf then down again to shelf etc.
Ground on shelf and slopes have little to no ground cover or top soil. Majority of the area is bedrock.
The area of concern, has a natural slope 1' every 2' and approx 100' wide This slope is fed by run off from higher ground and any amount of rain fall greater than a drizzle for any duration 2-3 hours create a rush of water down the slope.
The best location for a shop is on the shelf directly at the bottom of said slope. WOuld like to find a way to prevent the run off from entering the building. earlier this month, there was sztorm that produced a total of 4" of rain in a 24 hour period. the run off debris pile a 2-3" high.
Thanks for the help.
