stp solid with attribute

Hello Forum,
I need to know if we can store some attributes into stp( step file) without open it with nx, then the attribute can be read after it is opened with NX.

Any suggestion is very much appreciate .

If you use Step AP242 that will export and import to/from NX all your attributes. The AP203 and 214 are limited in this.

I've not tried it, but this list of attributes (if found in the NX file) should be transferred to the STEP 203 file (and vice versa).

I am still thinking on how to input those attributes into the files from outside NX, then retrieve them as specific different attribute titles.
