As per A500 - Standard Specification for Cold-Formed Welded and Seamless Carbon Steel Structural Tubing in Rounds and Shapes

" 1.2 This tubing is produced in both welded and seamless sizes with a maximum periphery of 64 in. (1626 mm) and a maximum wall of 0.625 in. (15.88 mm). Grade D requires heat treatment.

11.4 Straightness—The permissible variation for straightness of structural tubing shall be 1⁄8 in. times the number of feet (10.4 mm times the number of metres) of total length divided by 5."​

1) Can I use the above formula for P22 of any other pipe i.e. ss?
2) Can anyone please differentiate structural tubing to pipe we normally use as nozzles in a vessel or drum?
3) Can anyone share a code or reference to where I can find and compute for the tolerance of pipe straightness?

Each product spec has its own rules. And while you will find that many use a common wording you don't know until you check.
This spec gives you 0.125"/5 per foot, or 0.025"/ft. I know of tubular specs that are tighter (some are 0.030"/3') and some that are looser.

But you need to look in product specs, they don't all default to the general A999 (pipe) or A1016 (tube) specs.
