Hi, I am designing a load cell, and was wondering if I should use 2024-T4 or 7075-T6 as a base material. Both materials would be OK for stress and fatigue, but I heard that 7075-T6 is to be avoided with strain gauges. Any idea why? Temperature would be between 20C and 70C, so there should be no issues on that side.
Thanks!
