Hi All,

Does anyone out there know if it is possible to export the contents of the online editor in strand7 to excel?

I realise that manual copy/paste of the cells contents is possible, but this does not apply to the geometry description cells (eg. plate number).

Thanks,

Yes, "copy + fixed cells", or shift-ctrl-c as I tend to think of it.

A couple of other things you might look at:
You can assign an ID to any element, which you can then display as part of the data. This has the advantage that you can generate an ID string related to the coordinates of the element centroid (for instance), which can be useful.

The API allows you to read and write Strand7 files directly from Excel (or other software). Once set up it really is very powerful.
