Hi All,

While this is my first post on this site, I have used it many times to find help with Pro-E. Thank you all for that.

I am currently having trouble figuring out the source of a strange symbol that is appearing on all the sheets within one of my drawings, but only when I print or create a PDF of the drawing (they are not visible when moving among sheets within the program.

I believe it is related to a surface finish I have placed on one of my sheets, but it is not visible on any other sheet in the document, even when I print screen.

What is interesting is that if I print a sheet individually, the symbols will not appear, but if I print the entire drawing they show up on every page. Strange huh? Yesterday I was able to print each sheet individually and then I could PDF the drawing and the symbols would not appear.

I'm hoping someone else has previously had this problem and found a solution to it.

Thanks in advance!

Got it figured out!

I deleted all the surface finish controls from the drawing and I no longer have the problem... yet another weird glitch cursed upon me by the Pro-E Gods...

Hope this helps if anyone stumbles upon the forums here.

Frequently problems like that can be fixed by exiting Pro/E and restarting. Less drastic than deleting a lot of symbols & redoing the work.

That's usually my first solution. I tried exiting Pro-E and restarting the PC, neither worked.

Deleting symbols was a last ditch measure!

Thanks for the help!
