stress averaging across collectors

Hello,

To confirm my fears, I created a simply test model that consists of one plate that I split into two collectors, to which I apply a simple tensile load. At the interface of the two collectors, the contours do not match up. All properties are the same between the two collectors. After some back and forth with tech support, they confirmed that HV does, indeed, not average stresses across collectors. After my initial shock at Altair missing, what seems to be, such a simple and necessary function, I started wondering if anyone has found a work around for this.

Any ideas or solutions?
