Stress Relieving Naval Brass 2

What would be the lowest temperature that we can stress relieve Naval Brass, and are there any time constraints ie. 1 hour at 220C, 1/2 hour at 240C?

Stress relieving Naval Brass should be similar to stress relieving Army, Marine or Air Force Brass. It can be done at all temperatures, provided copious amounts of Vodka, Jack Daniel's, or similar are applied within the 1 hr time constraint.

In case Ron's reply was not the one you were looking for, typical temperatures for stress relieving naval brass (1 hour exposure) are as follows:

rod 290 C (555 F)
wire 250 C (480 F)
parts 260 C (500 F)

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for. We received a batch of C46400 brass that was developing cracks rapidly. Stress relieving was one method suggested to us.
