I am exhausted with the constant issues Enercalc presents, every time they update a new problem crops up and their most recent update make the program literally unusable. After spending the last five years constantly in contact with their tech department trying to get results I am just done. It is unfortunate because when Enercacl is working it is exactly what I need, but the lack of functionality has wasted too much time over the years.
Anyone have any suggestions for similar programs that they have had good luck with?
I have tried Tekla Tedds, and I really like the whole concept of the program, but what I don't like is having to have one file for each beam and that each beam has multiple pages of output, this seems like it would hinder workflow. Granted, I only tried the demo version which had some features locked, so I may be under a false understanding of the program.
I used woodworks at a previous job. The lateral side seemed nice, but I have my own excel sheets for that now. The beam analysis seemed good, but somewhat limiting based on what I recall. Also our firm works with all materials, so a wood specific program wouldn't address all of our needs.
We have Engineering International, but we have had lots of issues with licensing and their customer service has not been very helpful at all.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, thank you.
