There seem to be a lot of people in this forum that work as aircraft structural engineers. Any recommendations for how I can get into the business (aircraft or other)?

I have a masters in mechanical engineering and structures are a passion of mine. However, the economy being what it is, I had to take a job with a civil engineering firm. On the bright side I'm learning a lot about reinforced concrete, but it is not exactly what I would like to be doing.

Thanks,
Rich

Lockheed is hiring like gangbusters for the JSF program. Boeing has some jobs out there.
My personal preference is the smaller outfits.
I currently work in St. Louis for a company the outfits business jets. I do repairs. You should check it out.
Last I saw we were hiring for second shift.
Look in the st. louis newspaper for job listings, that should help. Use aviation as a key word.
