Structural retrofitting

Hi all,
I have an old building rehabilitation. can anyone suggest a book od a reference regarding retrofitting structural design..column concrete jacket, beams and others.
I already have retrofitting design; f building structures but it's based om Chinese code..I need a similar reference based on the American codes.

You need to determine member sizes and draw up an existing framing plan if existing drawings are not available. You have to assess your loading condition including lateral and see if it's comparable. You also have to check with your codes or authorities having jurisdiction to see what loading is prescribed and if portions of the structure can be 'grandfathered'. You should also sit down and discuss this with a local structural guy.
