Structural square tubular welding

Hi,
when 3 Square tubulars are getting welded at one junction, it appears there will be a chance of weld over weld. Kindly see the attachment. Is providing a welded connection as per the attachment is accepted as per AWS?

The welds you have shown are quite common for connecting HSS. However, if you want the sides of the HSS members to be flush, it would be a flare bevel weld, not a groove weld. If you want one HSS to be welded to the flat of another HSS that could be a groove weld (I would probably look at fillet welds instead of groove welds).

Flare bevel welds are common due to the radius of the tubing corners.
