I am working on a model and comparing my hand check of the structure mass to the value calculated by Etabs. I notice that my hand calculation of 1.0SW + 0.8SDL matches with the numbers I get from etabs if I create a load combination 1.0SW + 0.8SDL, but it does not match the outputs in the "mass summary by story" table (note, I have converted these from a mass to a weight to compare, and have made sure that my mass source is defined as 1.0SW + 0.8SDL.)
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue where the weight shows up in storey force outputs, but not in the mass used? I've double checked all modifiers as well to make sure none are modifying the storey mass.
